Our company is a creative and sustainable enterprise that specializes in transforming urufunzo (natural plant fiber) into high-quality baskets and other handmade tools. By using locally sourced materials and traditional craftsmanship, we turn natural resources into functional, durable, and beautiful products for everyday use. Each product is carefully handcrafted, combining cultural heritage with modern design. Our work supports environmental protection by promoting renewable materials and reducing dependence on plastic and synthetic products. Our mission is to preserve local skills, empower artisans, and promote eco-friendly living through responsibly made products. We believe that urufunzo is more than a raw material—it is a symbol of sustainability, creativity, and community development. We train ultra-poor women in Bugesera to produce high-quality papyrus handcrafts, link them to stable markets, and restore peatlands to secure raw materials and reduce CO₂ emissions.
