Modern Zege Leather Product Industry Private LimitedCompany (MoZ) was established in 1993 located in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia, Akaki Kalty sub city, at place called Kalty kirkos factory areas .The Company is initially started with manufacturing of leather goods and garments for the domestic market and later in 2005 started exporting to the USA. The manufacturing facility of leather footwear is established in 2013 and started manufacturing for the domestic market in 2014 with an installed capacity of 1000 pairs a day with a plan to utilise 70% of capacity for export. As domestic production, the own outlets are the major customers along with some local retailers from Addis Ababa. The company has exported its product to the customer’s in USA, Japan, Switzerland, Kenya and Spain.
The company produces Footwear, Leather goods and Garments all together in one roof, which itself a great combination to attract new customers; it has been awarded with ISO9001: 2015 QMS
Certification recently in 2017.
